Ooey Gooey MMmm MMmm Good

The first thing I do every morning is check my email...on my phone...before I get out of bed. I usually don't sleep until after 2pm, but I was rather "sleepy." On this particular day I had received an email from ZipList, with a full selection of "Ooey Gooey Recipes," including one with a guarantee that everyone would love.

The recipe title is "Cheddar bacon ranch pulls," but I much prefer the author's nickname for the dish-Crack Bread. Hubs and I got all the ingredients during our grocery store trip, and put everything together while finishing the last couple of episodes of The IT Crowd on Netflix. Oh British comedy. :) The bread came out of the oven "ooey gooey" as promised, and we dove right in. Oh. My. Gatos. It really is crack bread. I'm glad I thought to make myself a spinach salad along with it, otherwise I'm sure I would have gorged myself on the melty cheesey bacon and ranchy goodness. We followed the recipe pretty closely, but used a slightly larger loaf of Italian bread, making for more servings. It was pretty much amazing, and I can't wait to make it again.

My "crack bread"

  1. It really is super easy...and delicious. I may try the cinnamon one sometime, when I have company. I don't like cinnamon myself.
